Numbers do not lie, and it is so true in this BMW match up. The M5 E60 comes with a naturally aspirated 5.0L V-10 and it produces a monstrous 500 horsepower with a 428 lb-ft peak torque. The newer M5, the BMW F10 M5 has a 4.4L V8 with twin turbos and churns out 552HP between 6,000 thru 7,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 502 lb-ft while revving at 1,500 rpm thru 5,750 rpm.

But of course, seeing is better than reading just the numbers and some BMW lovers were able to get their hands on the two generations of the M5 and raced them side by side. What can we say, enjoy the videos!

Lexus is said to be the official automotive partner of the publication allowing them to access the swimsuit models of Sports Illustrated. For this purpose, the tall and pretty Tori Praver collaborated with the creative team of Lexus. Their goal – capitalize on the SI model’s curves.

The marketing campaign revolves around, literally, the curves of the bikini clad body of Tori Praver. The team came up with a race track highlighting the natural curves of the model and have two professional drivers go around and drift thru the curves riding the new F Sport variant of the Lexus GS.

We were able to grabbed a video over the internet, and it seems that designing the race track was not sweat and Tori’s curves were tested by pro drivers Greg Tracy and Scott Pruett.

See who had a faster time with the tourney called by Lexus as the TORI 500. The winner goes on a victory lap with the model herself.

Lexus also released iPhone apps as part of this marketing campaign which allows consumers to make use of the photos of the Lexus GS and the pictures of Tori Praver. There will also be another app which will be a game that will make use of the TORI 500 race track.

Although today we only see Chevrolet mostly on the Corvette LeMans racing program and the NASCAR, the brand has been involved with a lot of racing series through the years.

In the video, you will get a glimpse of the USA-1 Camaro of Bruce Larson, the Chaparral 2 of Jim Hall which won the Nurburgring, and some NASCAR action during the time when the term stock car sstill had some meaning. You will also hear the name of Juan Manuel Fangio who drove a race car for Chevy in 1940. The video will also not be complete fi you will not hear Dale Earnhardt who is considered Chevy Racing’s patron saint.

The video though is not really enough to give justice to the long history of Chevrolet racing. There are also still photos used for the production. It will be lovely to see more videos of the racing series that Chevy joined and ruled. Videos of the most beautiful Chevrolet pace cars will also be much appreciated.

We just hope Chevrolet will tap someone to make a longer documentary about its racing history so they will not have to inject a ton of promotion about their current lineup in a video where the past should be the center of attention.

The video ran for 1 minute and 44 seconds. The first part showed the meat of the publicity stunt. The video showed the peaceful, clean, and beautiful streets of Vilnius with Zuokas riding a bicycle on an ordinary, sunny day. The next scene showed the city mayor taking a photo of the expensive W140 Mercedes-Benz S-Class parked illegally on a bicycle lane. Several photos of other illegally parked, sports cars were shown while the city mayor raved about his frustrations over sports car-owning rich citizens who think they can just park anywhere and disregard the imposed laws.

Wearing a suit, the 43-year-old civil servant climbed onto a Russian BTR with some of the crew men and literally drove over the illegally parked W140 Mercedes-Benz S-Class, crushing the beautiful piece of automobile like a soda can. The next scene showed the surprisingly calm owner of the luxury vehicle shaking hands with the mayor, who later swept the broken glasses off the street and rode off into the sunset on his bicycle.

Based on a report that was published in the Irish Times, the Vilnius city mayor is a passionate cyclist. He wanted to make a point that even if you have money and expensive cars you can’t just park anywhere you like especially if it’s illegal because it shows lack of respect for others.

Aston Martin recently released a promo video for the N420 which is another masterpiece inspired by the V8 Vantage. The car is a successor to their 2007 release, the N400, and was produced to celebrate the carmaker’s laurels in the 24 hours Nurburgring race.

The Aston Martin N420 uses the same 4.7L powerplant of the V8 Vantage. The N420 though is a bit faster because it is 27 kilograms or 60 pounds lighter. The designers and engineers were able to shed off some weight with the use of carbon fiber elements.

The handling of the car is also upgraded with Aston Martin offering its Sports suspension package as standard. This includes anti roll bars, dampers, and revised springs.

Other appealing elements of the N420 include the 10-spoke alloy wheels in glossy black finishing; carbon fiber splitter, rear diffuser, and side strakes; Graphitic tailpipes; and black mesh vents.

The interiors feature improved instruments, Alcantara or leather steering wheel, racing seats, and sill plaques especially made for the N420.  Other features include Bluetooth connectivity, cruise control, parking distance system, and race track stitches.

The N420 can be availed either as a roadster or a coupe in either manual gearbox with six speed or optional automated Sportshift manual transmission. The British manufacturer tags the car in the UK starting at £96,995 or roughly $156,000.

Abarth 500 is getting a boost from the new performance kit prepared by G-Tech.

The package is called the RS-S which gives the Abarth 500 Garrett loaders, new set of spark plugs, redesigned exhaust system, and bigger injectors. These components jack up the output of the 1.4L powerplant to give out 207 horsepower and a more potent torque of 229 lb-ft from 135 horsepower and a 152 lb-ft.

The kit from G-Tech allows the car to speed up from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in a matter of 6.9 seconds compared to the stock’s 7.9. What’s more impressive is how it gets to 200 km/h in just 26.9 seconds instead of what the stock Abarth 500 can achieve in 43.7 seconds. The top speed of the tweaked Abarth 500 is limited electronically to 226 kilometers/hour.

G-Tech also gave the exteriors some fine tuning. Their designers added green bright accents on the body of the car and installed a set of matching 17-inch rims.

The feel of this small ride is also great especially after the extra power from the G-Tech installations. It definitely feels more than the performance numbers we have on this page.

The tag price for this Abarth 500 starts at $37,745. Buyers though can get the components of the kit separately.

They just do not exist on you favorite websites but really, Zondas do exist. Seeing a Pagani Zonda on the road may really be like next to winning the lottery in probability.

When you see 2 Paganis cruising together on the road that is like seeing a lightning hitting the same mark that you painted red on the road. Well there are places like the Empire State Building where the business moguls park their Paganis and where you can see maybe one or two.

Now, having to see Paganis forming a line in parade will really give you that weird feeling where everything else around you goes into a halt. That can really happen if you are at the Vanishing Point meet up in Italy hosted by Horatio Pagani.

Annualy, Horacio Pagani invites owners of Pagani and friends who has other supercars to bot in a gathering that has come to be known as the Vanishing Point. This year, Paganis and its friends Ferraris, Benz, Rolls Royce and other jaw dropping badges gathered at the Cividale de Friuli in Italy.

The weather actually spoiled the fun since the crowd was not able to ogle at the speed monsters when the main square display was cancelled because of the rain. Instead of photos, we were able to dig up a video so you can hear how the V12s roar and grunt as they snake through the narrow streets of Italy.

The 2010 BMW M3 offers no compromises in terms of its aggressiveness. The designers and engineers put the track in mind first with comfort and aesthetics coming in next. The V8 powerplant of the M3 boasts of about 450 horsepower for the 4.4L variant of the M3 GTS.

The power of the engine is transmitted to the rear wheels through a dual clutch system on 7-speed transmission. This was specially designed to withstand the output of the very powerful powertrain with the shifting engineered to maximize the potentials of the V-8.

Some of the aerodynamic pieces of the BMW M3 include the adjustable rear spoiler, front splitter, and some reworked elements on the front end. The car is also set up with 19-inch alloy wheels paired with tires that ensure understeer-bias with very good grip. The designers also put in a nice work on the honeycomb grille.

The brakes of the car are also custom made with four-piston and six-piston design calipers for the back and front, respectively. There are also race dampers attached to the corners of the car so owners can tune the car for appropriate rebound and bump needed on the road or track.

The inside is pretty much like a race car with rear seats gone for a fire bottle and a roll cage. Despite the very race-like features, the BMW M3 is very much street legal.
